About this video
The Spin offense is a run-based, misdirection attack, and it works because defenses commit hard to stopping the run. Barry Gibson, the innovator of the Combo offense that became known as the Spin offense, shows how to make them pay for it with a five-play play action passing package. Each pass is taught the same way he teaches the runs: formations, blocking scheme, position-by-position responsibilities and everything needed to install it and run it on Friday night.
What you'll learn
- Spin Pass Drag: a short, safe throw away from motion that goes against the grain and works against any coverage
- Spin Pass All-Go: a quick vertical threat with three receivers, built for Cover 2
- Spin Pass Middle: attacks the void over-pursuing linebackers leave, with the right-side split end as the target
- Spin Screen Right: the low-risk complement to Fullback Screen Left that gets the ball to the left slot back
- Spin Flea Flicker: a change of pace shot that fits the red zone against run-committed defenses
- Formations, blocking schemes and every position's responsibility on all five plays
Who it's for
High school and youth offensive coordinators and head coaches running the Spin or Combo offense who need a play action package to punish defenses that crowd the box.

Frequently asked questions
What passes are installed?
Five play action concepts off Spin action: Spin Pass Drag, Spin Pass All-Go, Spin Pass Middle, Spin Screen Right and the Spin Flea Flicker, each with its formation, protection and assignments.
Is this for a pass-first offense?
No. It is built for a run-based Spin attack at the high school or youth level, where the play action gets its bite from defenses selling out to stop the misdirection run game.
How do I get access after buying?
It streams. This is a Buy Now, Watch Now video at $19.95, available in your AFM Videos account the moment you order and playable on any device, unlimited times, for good. The 1-Year All Access membership ($99/year) includes it and the rest of the library.
Which of these plays beat which coverage?
Coach Gibson ties each one to a look: All-Go is his Cover 2 answer with three verticals, Pass Middle attacks linebackers who over-pursue the run action, and Pass Drag is the safe call that works against any coverage.
