About this video
Anthony Panagakos introduces the Sling-T, the no-huddle offense he coordinated at Port Richmond High School in New York. Part Wing-T, part Pro-I, part Run 'n Shoot and part West Coast, the Sling-T pairs an array of running and passing plays with constant fakes, motion and deception, and Coach Panagakos believes it can be an effective part of your offense no matter what personnel you have: undersized linemen, a quarterback without a big arm, small fast backs. Part 1 of his five-part series lays the foundation.

Who it's for
High school offensive coordinators and head coaches, especially Wing-T programs looking to add Run 'n Shoot and West Coast passing elements, and staffs whose personnel changes from year to year. Coach Panagakos says the concepts are adaptable to any offense.
About the coach
Anthony Panagakos coordinated the offense at Port Richmond High School in New York, where the Sling-T produced two backs with more than 1,100 rushing yards each in one season and, once the passing game opened up, a 1,400-yard passer with four receivers of 15 or more receptions.
Part 1 of Coach Panagakos's five-part Sling-T series, with extensive use of game film. Runtime: about 34 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Sling-T offense?
A no-huddle offense that blends the Wing-T, the Pro-I, the Run 'n Shoot and the West Coast offense. This first video covers its foundation and strategy, base personnel and formations, the role of motion and why fakes, deception and plays that look alike are central to it.
What kind of team fits it?
Any, according to Coach Panagakos. The Sling-T was built to work with undersized linemen and a quarterback without a powerful arm, so it suits high school programs whose personnel changes every year, and Wing-T coaches who want more passing.
