Frequently asked questions
What does The Base 4-2-5 Defense cover?
The base configuration of Coach Place's 4-2-5: its philosophy and strategy, alignments, responsibilities and keys for every D-lineman, linebacker and secondary player, how it forces offenses to prepare for five fronts and how to make adjustments without stressing the defense.
Is it a good starting point for a high school coordinator?
It is designed as an introduction, and Coach Place emphasizes how simple the 4-2-5 is to learn and teach. High school and college coordinators can use it as the first step, then move on to the variations, coverages and pressures in the rest of the series.
What does it cost to stream?
$19.95 as a Buy Now, Watch Now video: it streams instantly in your AFM Videos account on any device and is yours to watch as often as you like. The 1-Year All Access membership ($99/year) includes it too, along with the whole AFM Videos library.
Can I run 4-2-5 concepts without switching defenses?
Yes. Coach Place explains how you can use the 4-2-5 regardless of your present defense, and how its adjustments help make an offense one-dimensional. The remaining four parts of the series build the Stack and Bear variations, zone coverages, first-level movements and man pressures on this base.
