About this video
Head coach Eric Driskell calls the power play a '100 percent attitude play,' and it is the ideal partner to Blue Valley High School's most trusted play, the inside zone read. Where the inside zone read develops slowly and gives the running back a chance to cut back, power is a downhill, hit-it-now run. This coaching video is the offensive line guide to running the power play from the pistol and offset gun, from stance work through game film.

Frequently asked questions
What makes this power play video different from a generic power install?
It is specific to running power from the pistol and offset gun the way Blue Valley does, with the stance, teaching progression and drills Coach Driskell uses, plus schemes against odd and even fronts.
What level is it aimed at?
High school offensive line coaches first, though college line coaches installing power alongside zone from the gun will find the progression just as useful.
Once I buy it, how quickly can I watch?
Immediately. The $19.95 purchase unlocks the stream in your AFM Videos account on any device with unlimited replays. If you hold a 1-Year All Access membership ($99/year), it is already included with every other video in the library.
Why run power if we already run inside zone?
Coach Driskell explains that the inside zone read is a slower-developing play with a cutback, while the power play is a 100 percent attitude play that hits downhill, giving the offense two different ways to attack the same front.
