About this video
Todd Quick's Okie Blitz Package is the pressure system behind Lufkin High School's aggressive defensive philosophy: attack the quarterback and never wait on the offense. Built to be easy to install, the package gives a defensive coordinator up to 108 different blitzes from one set of calls, and this clinic session lays out how Coach Quick organized, disguised and called them as a companion to the 4-2-5 defense he ran at Lufkin.
What you'll learn
- The structure of the Okie Blitz Package and why it is simple to teach
- The calls and numbering system that generate as many as 108 blitz combinations
- Reads the blitzers and coverage players use on each pressure
- How to disguise blitzes so offensive linemen cannot sort out who is coming
- The blitz combinations Coach Quick leaned on most during Lufkin's 11-1 season
- Putting pressure on the quarterback and dictating to the offense
Who it's for

Frequently asked questions
What is the Okie Blitz Package?
It is the blitz system Todd Quick ran at Lufkin High School: a calling and numbering structure that produces up to 108 different blitzes, with the reads and disguises that go with each one.
Will it work with my defense?
Coach Quick describes it as easy to implement, and although it was built alongside Lufkin's 4-2-5 defense, defensive coordinators at the high school and college level who want a pressure package with a simple numbering system can adapt it.

Does Coach Quick have other 4-2-5 videos?
Yes. His 4-2-5 defense series covers the base fronts, zone coverages, man-to-man coverages and the stunt package; the Okie Blitz Package is the pressure companion to those sessions.
