Developing the Running SZF QB

In the Shotgun Zone Fly, the quarterback has to be a genuine threat with the football in his hands. Foothill High School (CA) head coach Bryon Hamilton devotes this session to developing the running quarterback in the SZF offense, presenting the drills and coaching points he uses to turn a quarterback into a real problem in the run game and to sharpen the reads that drive the option side of the offense.

About the coach

Bryon Hamilton was the head coach at Foothill High School in California, where he built and ran the Shotgun Zone Fly offense.
