About this video
This is the run game inside Lew Johnston's up-tempo spread Wing-T. Johnston keeps the series football that makes the Wing-T dangerous, the speed/jet sweep, power, iso, buck sweep, counter and option, and runs all of it from his Wildcat and Tiger formations at spread tempo. What comes out is a power running attack that still wins with motion and misdirection rather than raw size up front.

Who it's for
High school head coaches and offensive coordinators running the Wing-T, and spread coaches who want a downhill, assignment-sound run game to pair with tempo. Every play is taught with blocking rules rather than memorized assignments.
About the coach
Lew Johnston was head coach at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in Virginia, where he adapted the up-tempo, spread offense to the Wing-T. He has coached the Wing-T throughout his career with an overall winning percentage of 82%.

Frequently asked questions
Which run plays are installed?
From the Wildcat, the Speed/Jet Sweep, Tailback Power, Tailback Dive and Inside Zone, the Sweep Option and the Wide Receiver Reverse. From the Tiger formation, the Buck Sweep, Halfback Power, Halfback Iso Lead, Tailback Dive, Counter Trap, Tailback Triple Option, Lead Sweep and Draw.
Is this only for teams already running the Wing-T?
No. Johnston teaches each play with rules and alignments, so a shotgun or spread staff can take the jet sweep, power and buck sweep package into its own formations and gain the misdirection without relearning an entire system.
How do I watch it?
As a Buy Now, Watch Now stream. For $19.95 it plays immediately from your AFM Videos account on any device, and you keep unlimited access; the 1-Year All Access membership at $99 also streams it along with every other title in the library.
How long is the presentation?
It is an extended, two-part session, which is what makes room for rules and assignments on every play in both the Wildcat and Tiger formations rather than a quick overview of each.
